The Prosecutor's Office of the Moscow Region held a meeting of the Public Council for the Protection of the Rights of SMEs of the Moscow Region on the observance of the rights of entrepreneurs. 

Due in the context of reforming control and supervisory activities in order to providing them with support measures with the participation of representatives of the Moscow Business Ombudsman, business communities and a number of control and supervisory organizations.

The Prosecutor's Office of the Moscow Region pays considerable attention to measures in the field of state and municipal control, compliance with the rights of business entities when providing them with support measures, receiving state and municipal services, timely payment of executed contracts.

Thus, according to the regional prosecutor's office, in the period from 2022 to the present, more than three thousand violations of the law have been revealed in the field of protection of the rights of business entities. In order to eliminate these, more than 1.5 thousand acts of prosecutorial response have been submitted, including to the heads of federal and regional control bodies, local self-government bodies. According to the results of the review, 900 officials were brought to disciplinary and administrative responsibility.

In addition, since the beginning of 2023, according to the results of consideration of more than 1 thousand materials on the approval of unscheduled inspections, the prosecutor's office of the region has refused to conduct them in almost 75% of cases.

The work on timely payment of public contracts executed by entrepreneurs is also systematic. The amount of repaid debt under contracts to the business as a result of the prosecutor's response since the beginning of this year amounted to about 650 million rubles.

- In the Moscow Region, much attention is paid to protecting the rights of entrepreneurs and creating a favorable climate for doing business in general. This is confirmed by the leading positions of the region in the National Rating of the investment climate in the regions of Russia, compiled annually by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects (ASI). Together with the authorities and the law enforcement unit, we continue to work in this direction. New tools are being created to help business, state and municipal control are being improved, and excessive requirements are being eliminated. The procedure of pre-trial appeal of the decisions taken has become in demand," concluded Vladimir Golovnev, the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region.
