The Business Ombudsman visited a farm in Pushkino.
The Commissioner for the Protection of the rights of entrepreneurs in the Moscow Region Vladimir Golovnev along with the head of the public reception of the Business Ombudsman in the Korolev city district Lyudmila Kozlova visited a peasant farm engaged in breeding small and large cattle and the production of dairy products and cheeses.
An individual entrepreneur, whose "brainchild" is a farm, told the story of a hobby that has become a big, real business. It all started with the birth of his daughter. In order to always have fresh milk in the house, he decided to have a goat. Friends and acquaintances began to give and give him new animals, and in just two years the herd grew to hundreds of heads. Today the farm has 1000 breeding goats, sheep and cows. All – rare breeds. These are sheep: Dorper, Ostfriessky, Lakon. Goats: Anglo-Nubian, Boer, Kalahari-red, Shami. Cows are represented in the farm by the Jersey breed.
The farm has a closed cycle from feed production (the farm harvests its own feed base – hay and haylage - on its own agricultural lands) to the cultivation of small cattle and the production of a wide range of dairy products - more than 30 varieties of cheese. Everything, at the same time, is made without the addition of preservatives and dyes.
Vladimir Golovnev highly appreciated the farming and noted how important it is to do what you love:
- We discussed the further development strategy of this wonderful farm. The entrepreneur is helped to implement the project, including measures of state and regional support. The plans are to develop a tourist destination, open an eco–farm and a farmer's school," the Business Ombudsman said.
A great help in the implementation of ideas is provided by the public reception of the Commissioner and its head - Lyudmila Kozlova.
